Ark Society

Find Your People.
Deepen Your Faith.
Build Something
That Lasts.

A Christian network for young adults ready to build real community, grow in their faith, and lead lives of purpose wherever life takes them after college.

"Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."

Psalm 127:1 ESV
"Building Leaders.
Strengthening Faith.
Shaping the Future."
Our Mission

Ark Society exists to fill the gap between the end of college ministry and finding a church community that sticks. We build local chapters where young Christians can be known, challenged, and sent.

Whether you graduated college, skipped it entirely, or are simply looking for a place to pursue Christ alongside people who take it seriously, this network is for you.

We are not a replacement for your church. We are the community that helps you get there, stay rooted, and grow into who God is calling you to be.

"Go and make disciples of all nations."Matthew 28:19 ESV
Why the Ark

Built by Faith
Before the Rain.

Before a single drop of rain fell, Noah was already building. He trusted God for what he could not yet see, gathered his household inside, and was carried through the flood into a brand new world.

Ark Society takes its name from that story. The years after college are a season of open water: new cities, new jobs, new questions about who you are becoming. We want to be the ark in that season. A place built by faith, where you are welcomed in, kept close to Jesus, and carried into whatever God has next.

And just like Noah's family stepping out onto new ground, we do not stay inside forever. We are sent out to build, to plant, and to bless the cities we call home.

The Story Behind the Name
"By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household."
Hebrews 11:7 ESV
The Mark

Every Line
Means Something.

Our mark is a tree, a cross, and a compass all at once. It is a picture of the life we want for every member.

The Branches

Growing Up

Faith that bears fruit. We want every member to keep growing in character, in wisdom, and in love.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit."
John 15:5 ESV
The Roots

Rooted Deep

What holds a tree up is what you cannot see. Our strength comes from being planted in Christ and in His Word.

"Rooted and built up in him and established in the faith."
Colossians 2:7 ESV
The Cross

Christ at the Center

The cross runs straight through the middle of everything. Jesus is not one part of the life we build. He is the center of it.

"For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."
1 Corinthians 2:2 ESV
The Arrows

Sent Out

The arrows point in every direction. We gather so that we can be sent into our workplaces, neighborhoods, and cities.

"You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Acts 1:8 ESV
How We Work

Three Pillars.
One Community.

Everything we do comes back to three commitments.

01

Belong

Real community starts in a room. Local chapters host recurring events like dinners, hikes, game nights, and service days. The entry point is always one person meeting another.

"Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together."Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV
02

Grow

Faith formation that fits a working adult's life. Accountability groups, reading plans, speaker events, and devotionals built around your schedule, not a student's.

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed."2 Timothy 2:15 ESV
03

Lead

Every member has a path to become a Metro Host, Metro Lead, or event organizer. We turn attendees into owners and build this network from the inside out.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."Matthew 5:14 ESV
The Ark Rhythm

A Rhythm,
Not Just Events.

Community that lasts is built on repetition. Every Metro Chapter follows the same simple rhythm so that wherever you move, you already know the way in.

Every Week

Ark Groups

Gathering around a table with an open Bible. Honest prayer, real accountability, and friends who notice when you are missing.

Every Month

First Thursdays

On the first Thursday of every month, every Metro Chapter gathers on the same night for worship, a meal, and a word. One family across many cities.

Every Year

The Gathering

Once a year, every metro comes together for a weekend of worship, teaching, and commissioning before we are sent back out into our cities.

"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts."

Acts 2:46 ESV
Who This Is For

You Don't Need
a Perfect Faith Story.

Ark Society is for the young Christian who wants more community, more depth, and more purpose. Wherever you're coming from, there's a seat for you.

The Recent Grad

Your campus ministry is behind you and your friends are scattered. You want community that goes deeper than Sunday morning.

New to the City

You just moved somewhere new and don't know anyone yet. You want to find your people and a church home.

Faith on Your Terms

Maybe you skipped college, or went and never found a community that clicked. You want Christ and real people.

Ready to Lead

You want to do more than attend. You want to host, build, and be someone others look to. Ark Society gives you that path.

What We Believe

Simple.
Unshakable.

Ark Society welcomes Christians from every tradition and at every stage of faith. Here is the ground we stand on together.

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day."1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ESV
  1. One God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  2. Jesus Christ

Jesus is fully God and fully man. He died for our sins, rose from the dead, and will come again. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, made possible by Christ alone and received through faith.

  3. The Word

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, given to teach, guide, and shape our faith and life.

  4. The Church

Every believer belongs in a church community. Ark Society walks alongside your church, never in place of it.

  5. The Mission

We are sent to make disciples, love our neighbors, and seek the good of the cities God has placed us in.

Metro Chapters

Where We're
Going Next.

Ark Society grows one metro at a time. Each Metro Chapter is led by local hosts and gathers young adults across the whole metro area. Pick a city on the map or from the list to see where it stands and how you can help launch it.

"Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."Jeremiah 29:7 ESV

The Founders

Built by People
Who Lived It.

Ark Society was started by three young Christians who saw the gap firsthand and decided to do something about it.

This Week's Word

Planted,
Not Just Placed.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream."

Jeremiah 17:7-8 ESV

You can be placed somewhere without ever being planted. A new job, a new apartment, a new city. You show up, you get busy, and months go by without anything taking root.

Planting takes intention. It looks like a church you actually commit to, a few people who know your name and your struggles, and a daily habit of returning to the Word. Trees planted by water do not panic when the heat comes, because their roots already reach the stream.

This week, ask yourself honestly: where am I just placed? And where is God inviting me to put down roots?

This Week's Practice Invite one person in your city to share a meal, and ask them how you can pray for them.
